these cigarettes are not for smoking but writing.
these cigarettes are for lighting ideas
these cigarettes are not lightened by lighter or matches
but sharpened by pencil sharpener or knife.
these cigarettes are not bad for health, can be lighted at any amount per day.
these cigarettes are no smell, no smoke and no toxic but effective as thinking tool.
* I found these cute the cigarette pencils in the real cigarette size with “no smoking” copy printed on the side, from my Tokyo trip last March.

Japan is one of countries that often face natural disasters.
However Japanese are never familiar but alert and prepared for such cases all the time.
As a 手ぬぐい tenugui collector–tenugui is Japanese all purpose hand cotton towel,
once I saw this pattern–prevention of disasters, I can’t help but buy it.
Graphics indicate useful goods to be prepared including handy stuffs,

emergency telephone no., how to use tenugui in different ways
and a space to fill your name, birthdate, blood type, allergy record and contact address.
The real useful and all purpose hand towel!

I found this lovely Mini Clubman 1976 with tons of zakka last year at Shibuya.
Actually this Zakka MiniMini is online shop but travelling from time to time
around Tokyo. Its bright yellow kicked everyone’s eyes and can’t stop to have
a look and have fun in browsing their delightful stuffs.

One of my favorites when I was a kid.
Coconut ice cream and soft bread are the real perfect match.
Topping with some peanuts adds crunchy taste.
Then the whole world is full of smiles.

I always love to walk around to admire how public space in various places are designed.
Now public space seems to be in good care. It becomes a space to show creativity rather than be ignored and left empty. One of my favorite public space in Tokyo is on 7th floor at Lumine Est (formerly named MyCity) in Shinjuku.

Super Potato by famous designer, Takashi Sugimoto designed SHUN/KAN 7th-8th floor MyCity (now is Lumine Est) in 2002. Amazing walls were made by wasted materials from the city — wood, paper, plastic, glasses, etc.

Other Super Potato works are such as Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Park Hyatt Seoul, Hyatt Regency Kyoto and also Muji at Tokyo Midtown.
